STORIES
Stories of Injustice
Every story matters. We collect and share lived experiences with dignity and consent to educate the public, inform research, and inspire reform.

Why Stories Matter
Numbers and policy debates can obscure the human cost of government overreach. Personal stories bring the data to life. They help legislators understand the stakes, help the public see the people behind the headlines, and help other families feel less alone.
Dignity & Consent
People who share their stories deserve control over how those stories are used. Every submission is reviewed with care. We will never publish, share, or identify you without your explicit, written consent, and consent to one use is not consent to another.
You may share anonymously, use only your first name, or remain entirely off the record. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will remove your story from any surface the Foundation controls.
A note on scope: the Foundation publishes stories to illustrate procedural patterns — how a federal case unfolds, what it costs, and what it leaves behind. Publication is not a legal finding about your case, and nothing on this page should be read as the Foundation asserting the guilt or innocence of any person, including you. Case-specific claims stay in court.
The Foundation does not provide individual legal advocacy, case referrals, or representation. If you need counsel, we can point you to general resources — we cannot act as your lawyer.
