JP Maroney

Vice President of Marketing & Communications

JP Maroney is an entrepreneur, author, and media producer with more than thirty-five years building companies across publishing, media, advertising, software, e-commerce, and consulting. He started his first venture at nineteen and has been starting, acquiring, and scaling companies ever since, working with CEOs and founders on business growth, brand authority, and, more recently, AI-enabled marketing.

He co-founded OptionsUSA Media in 1995 and, in 2000, People Builders Worldwide, a global community of thought leaders in personal and professional development that delivered live events, coaching, and multimedia training and slated a world seminar tour featuring more than a hundred speakers across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Asia. In 1999 he founded Marocom Group, a collection of companies and joint ventures spanning publishing, software, media, training, and consulting, through which he has advised and served as a board member for clients including Wells Fargo, Century 21, and a range of corporations and trade associations.

He works today as a fractional chief marketing officer and strategic advisor specializing in marketing strategy and customer-acquisition programs, and is a senior advisor with the market-research firm Global Research. He is the author or co-author of more than thirty books and audio and video learning systems — including The Pillars of Profit and The Profitable Speaker's Playbook — a longtime keynote speaker, and a contributing writer to CMSWire. As a media producer he has created and hosted business and industry programs, including The DEAL FLOW Show and the surgical-innovation podcast SurgiTalk.

As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Maroney leads the Foundation's marketing, brand, and communications — its website and initiative pages, constituent-communications systems, social strategy, and the campaign structure behind each initiative. He is also building Justice Impact, a video-first media and podcast network, including the “Stories of Injustice” series, that carries first-person accounts to the public. He brings the Foundation a professional media operation of a kind its cause has rarely had behind it.
